Navjot Singh Sidhu – 70 innings
Navjot Singh Sidhu was quicker than the Virat Kohli, took just 70 innings to complete 3000 runs in Test cricket.
Sachin Tendulkar – 67 innings
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar did little better than Sidhu and reached the 3000 Test runs in 67 innings.

Former India captain Mohammad Azharuddin is also ahead of Virat as he completed 3000 runs in 64 innings.
Virender Sehwag – 55 innings
But the record of fastest Indian to 3000 Test runs is with Virender Sehwag. The Nawab of Najafgarh took just 55 innings to achieve the milestone.
