After a thumping win against Pakistan, the Indian Cricket Team celebrated a lot. But, the dressing room received one more pleasant news. The Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja becomes the father of baby girl. While practicing for the crucial match against Sri Lanka, the left-hand all-rounder received this great news from his family.
He did national duty before Personal life as he travelled to England only days before his wife’s expected delivery date. This couple got married in 2016.
When he was asked about that, Jadeja said: “I had to leave my pregnant wife behind. Family matters a lot to me, but it was also necessary to be part of the team with an important match coming up against Pakistan. Since the family is there to take care of her even they felt that I should play as that’s more important and I decided to do the same.”
It will be interesting to see if Jadeja travels to India to see his wife and his little daughter after Sri Lanka’s match.
The all-rounder took 2 wickets in 8 overs giving away 43 runs. He took two crucial wickets of Pakistan’s top scorer Azhar Ali and veteran batsman Mohammed Hafeez.
Wishes poured on social media after the news broke out and it was teammate Suresh Raina who led the way in wishing him.
