Who is Janani Iyer ?
She was born on 31 March 1987 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She completed her schooling at D.A.V. School in Gopalapuram and studied computer science engineering in Saveetha Engineering College.
After her studies, she decided to modelling and featured in over 150 regional television advertisements. Janani started her acting career in Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa.
Following the recommendation of A.L. Vijay, Janani went to audition for director Bala, who needed Tamil-speaking newcomer for the lead actress role for ‘Avan Ivan’. She made her Malayalam debut with 3 Dots in 2013. Janani Iyer also featured in five more Malayalam movies – 7th Day, Mosayile Kuthira Meenukal, Koothara, Ithu Thaanda Police and Ma Chu Ka.
