Gobinath was born in Aranthangi, Pudukkottai in the year 1975. He was belongs to middle class family, his father Chandran and mother Kumudham. Completed his schooling and college in same city and moved to chennai for work. He done marketing jobs in streets of chennai before entering into media.
He was active in media since 1997 and worked in many televisions. Married to Durga Gobinath and has a daughter named Venba.
