South African speedstar Dale Steyn is the third player to withdraw from the IPL league. First was Australia’s Mitchell Starc and second was South Africa’s JP Duminy. Dale Steyn has ruled out himself of the IPL 10. He announced his decision to skip this season but medias reports that he might be fit to play this season. Steyn cleared the air with his tweet:
For those that think I've miraculously recovered in time for the IPL, I haven't.
Im actually leaving for Bali today, surf trip. Peace 🏄✌🏼

Dale Steyn was suffered a shoulder injury during the first test against Australia last year at Perth. And then he was ruled out for more than 6 months. In last december, he confirmed that he will miss the cash-rice league (Indian Premier League).
He played for Royal Challengers Bangalore, Deccan Chargers, Sun Risers Hyderabad and Gujarat Lions in past seasons of IPL. In the last season, he played just a match and bowled just two overs and conceded 17 runs.
Gujarat Lions purchased fast bowlers like Basil Thampi, Nathu Singh, Manpreet Gony, Munaf Patel and Shelly Shaurya in the IPL Auction 2017 in the absence of Dale Steyn.
