Pakistan have been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during the win against England in the fourth test. Pakistan were found to be one over short once time allowances for drinks breaks, wickets, medical treatment and delays by the England batsmen were taken into consideration.

Misbha-ul-haq accepted the charge and fined 20% of his match fee, while other Pakistan players were fined 10% of their match fee. It puts the 42-year-old at risk of suspension should Pakistan commit another over-rate offence in the next 12 months with Misbah at the helm.
That was Pakistan’s first ever win on their Independence day. Pakistan have a chance to become No.1 test team, depending on the results in Sri Lanka and West Indies.
