India’s former all-rounder Sanjay Bangar named the head coach for India’s tour to Zimbabwe while there was no place for Bharat Arun and R Sridhar in the support staff.
India will play three ODI’s and three T20 Internationals in Zimbabwe which will starts on June 11. BCCI selected inexperienced players for Zimbabwe tour, the only experienced player is Ms Dhoni.
“Mr. Sanjay Bangar has been appointed as the Head Coach of the Indian cricket team for the forthcoming tour to Zimbabwe, which commences on the 8th of June comprising 3 One-Day International matches and 3 T20 International matches to be played in Harare,” BCCI secretary Ajay Shirke said in a statement.
Sanjay Bangar has already worked for Team India as assistant coach till their last International assignment, World T20 in March and April this year, under team director Ravi Shastri.
BCCI selected Abhay Sharma as fielding coach for India’s next tour to Zimbabwe.

Former Indian player Abhay Sharma has been working as the fielding coach for India-A and U19 Team India under Rahul Dravid.
