Sarfaraz Khan, Young batsman from Royal challengers Bangalore was in full form from the past season of IPL. In U-19 World cup , Sarfaraz was the second highest run scorer with 355 runs in 6 matches. But this year IPL was a bit tough since he featured only 5 matches and scored 66 runs with an average of 33. In IPL 2016, he played a little cameo of 35 off 10 balls at the end and his team reached a huge total of 227.

His fitness lack is the reason behind his failure in this season. There have also been rumours around that Sarfaraz had an ‘attitude problem’ because of which he was not being allowed to play.

Sarfaraz will now leave for England where he will train and play matches.

“He told me to work hard. I think he’s given me the bow and arrow to help me conquer my target This means a lot to me,” said Sarfaraz after the IPL final. Virat Kohli gifted a bat and a pair of gloves to Sarfaraz Khan after the IPL 2016 final.

Sarfaraz said,“I am trying hard to match Virat sir’s expectations. Basu sir has given me a fitness and training schedule. I will work accordingly in England where I will try and reduce my fat levels, keep fit and become stronger.”

He has since then travelled to Chennai for a training and fitness camp organised by RCB’s and Indian team strength and fitness trainer Shankar Basu, and will now test himself in foreign conditions.

He broke a record again, when he was signed up for 50 Lakhs by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2015, to become the youngest player to play in the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL).

Sarfaraz’s brother Musheer, the under-14 Mumbai spinner, will also be travelling to take part on this tour for G Force CA.
