Indian Test Team captain Virat Kohli registered his 2nd double century in Tests during 3rd test match against New Zealand. He becomes the first Indian to score 2 double test centuries as captain. He failed to score a single fifty since his first double century in Tests against West Indies in July. In his last seven innings, he scored 44, 3, 4, 9, 18, 9, 45.
Virat Kohli came to crease when his team at 60/2 and added an partnership with Ajinkya Rahane of 167 runs by the end of first day. He started the second day with the same fashion and scored his 2nd double century.
