RCB’s captain Virat Kohli became the first captain to score more than 500 runs in IPL in three different seasons, so he broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record, who had scored more than 500 runs twice as captain. Sachin scored 618 runs in IPL 2010 and 553 runs in IPL 2011.
Virat Kohli scored a match winning knock of massive 108 against Rising Pune Supergiants when he needs just 67 runs to complete 500 run mark in IPL 2016 and broke Sachin Tendulkar’s long standing IPL record.
He scored 634 runs in IPL 2013, which is also the highest ever score by a captain in the IPL and 505 runs in IPL 2015. He also scored 557 runs in 2011 before he was made RCB’s captain.
