Zimbabwe’s squads for ODI and T20 have been announced for the upcoming series against India. Graeme Cremer appointed as captain for the series against India by replacing Masakadza. Masakadza continuous to be part of both ODI and T20I squads under Graeme Cremer.
This tour comprises 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is which will starts from June 11, all the matches to be played at Harare Sports Club Stadium.
In his first interview, he said that he was learned the captaincy skills from their former captains Elton Chigumbura and Masakadza.
Zimbabwe’s squad also has several changes in the coaching personnel, with Dav Whatmore having been sacked for Makhaya Ntini. Also on board with the side are legendary African cricketers Tatenda Taibu and Lance Klusener, in roles of convenor and batting consultant respectively.
India’s squad also has many changes, some senior players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina having been rested. Indian team will play with full of young players and one senior player, Ms Dhoni.
