August 22nd is observed as Madras Day. Madras Day is a festival organized to commemorate the founding of the city of Madras (now Chennai). The capital city of Tamil Nadu, Chennai is celebrating it 377th Madras day.

A few members from the US Consulate in Chennai decided to go on a gastronomical journey at Kasivinayaga Mess. They enjoyed South Indian mess food in the most conventional way.
